For our branch in Santa Maria del Águila (Almería) in Spain, we are looking for an:

Agricultural Technical Engineer   
(Horticultural Products)

Location: Almeria, Spain
(Full-time, M/F)

YOUR ROLE:
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will

» Promote, sell and distribute the full range of our products to clients
» The role will entail developing and implementing sales operations based on the relevant business strategy for your region. Prospecting and driving long-term basis relationships with growers and distributors to drive growth
» You will service existing customers and target new customers through the provision of superior sales and horticulture knowledge.

ABOUT YOU:  
To be successful you will demonstrate a proven track record of sales achievement in an horticultural or similar role together with an understanding of the products, seasonal timings and general requirements of flower, vegetable and plant producers.

» Your sound customer service, organisational, administrative and computing skills will be complemented by excellent English written and verbal communication skills 
» A minimum two years’ experience in sales and a current driver’s licence is essential
» Good social and communicative skills and a flexible and proactive commercial attitud
» Experience with MS Office
» Be able to work accurately, independently and in a team
» Ideally  candidate belongs to the region mentioned and has a strong network within the horticultural community
» Have a passion for horticulture and sales
» Salary negotiable and depends on experience

Business and job-specific competences:
customer-oriented approach, collaboration, motivated to perform, professional, qualitatively and results oriented, persuasiveness, insight and progress inspection. English at C1 level.
